Sacramento Experiences Strong Job Growth

The Sacramento area attracts people for many reasons. Excellent climate, great education opportunities, endless recreation, variety in housing choices, and proximity to the Bay Area and the Sierra Mountains are just a few. Adding to the list is employment.

In the article recently published by the SacBee.com, The Sacramento region gained nearly 50,000 jobs in 2022, “Average monthly employment in the four-county area rose from about 1 million in 2021 to about 1.1 million in 2022. The average monthly unemployment rate fell from 6.4% to 3.6%. Those figures include full-time and part-time workers.”
